Because Democracy is NOT a Spectator Sport
The League of Women Voters of the Oberlin Area, the only League in Lorain County, is a nonpartisan political organization that promotes informed and active participation in government.
We welcome members from the entire county. Contact us with your suggestions for reaching out to your community.
From its beginning in 1920 the League of Women Voters has run programs and studied issues to help both voters and candidates for office understand their rights and their roles in making democracy work.
